This 11′ 2″ custom wood paddleboard was designed and built in secret, as a surprise 60th birthday gift. The main body is built from locally grown knotty White Cedar woods, with center strip inlay of light Aspen woods, inlaid with words of dark Red Cedar. The nose of the board contains a dark Red Cedar inlay of Lake Charlevoix with a heart shapped Charlevoix Stone embeded to mark a cottage location.
To make this gift even more special, the paddle blade is engraved with nicknames in the handwritting of the gift receiver’s family members and friends, as well as his name inlaid in the rails of the board!
